
The annual LibreOffice Conference, a major gathering for the community, took place last month from September 20 to 23 in Bucharest, Romania.
Over 100 Participants Both In-Person and Online
This event attracted over 100 in-person participants, along with many others online, who followed the video streams and submitted presentations.
The Politehnica University Campus: A Perfect Setting
The event was held on the campus of Politehnica University, featuring presentations in two rooms and a dedicated workshop for LibreOffice development alongside the main sessions.
Informal Community Session
Before the main presentations began, an informal community session allowed for discussions on various topics, including the development of local communities, connections with LibreOffice, and improvements to Weblate.
Opening Presentation by 1&1 Internet Development
The main event kicked off with an opening presentation from 1&1 Internet Development, one of the sponsors and organizers of the conference.
Keynote Presentation by Collabora Productivity
This was followed by a keynote presentation from Collabora Productivity, another sponsor of the event.

Finally, Allotropia, which also supported the conference, presented its contributions.
Friendly and Delightful Moments
The conference was not limited to presentations and workshops. It also featured a remarkable community dinner and a hackfest, accompanied by delicious pizzas.
