Formatting a Newspaper Article with LibreOffice Writer

Here is a tutorial for formatting a press article using LibreOffice Writer.

Writer is a word processor comparable to its non-free counterpart, Word.

It also allows for:

• the integration and creation of tables and graphs,
• a style system similar to that of Word,
• the integration of mathematical formulas,
• the addition of links to open other files,
• the insertion of media (images, videos, sounds) in various formats (WAV, AVI, MPEG…),
• exporting to PDF, HTML, DOC, or plain text files.
